The TME Travel Medical plans include all benefits of a “Hospital of Choice” Medical Evacuation plan, plus protects you for emergency accident and sickness medical expenses, while traveling 150 miles or more from home.

While our premier Medical Evacuation plan can bring you to your home hospital of choice, the expenses for a hospitalization, doctor visits, and other medical expenses can be extensive and often not covered by your health insurance or Medicare. Although your health plan may provide some level of emergency medical coverage while traveling, large deductibles and limited coverage can leave you with significant out-of-pocket expenses.

The plan also includes Trip Delay benefits, which provide reimbursement of additional costs for accommodations, transportation, and meals if a trip is delayed for a covered reason, such as quarantine or a natural disaster. Travel Medical coverage is available on our Daily and Annual/Extended Stay plans and can provide coverage for a trip up to 180 days. TME Travel Insurance Plans are designed for today’s traveler, and COVID is covered as any other illness.
